Prioritizing your Physical, Mental, and Social-emotional Health

Nurses make up the majority of the healthcare workforce and are natural problem-solvers and innovators. We, therefore, stand out as indispensable at any time, but especially during a public health emergency. Prioritizing self-care becomes more crucial than ever during a time like this. Taking steps to manage your stress and any anxiety is just as important as taking care of your physical health! As we adjust to a difficult new normal, how to help ourselves and others can be unclear. This presentation will emphasize the importance of prioritizing your own physical, mental, and emotional health as well as help you support patients, family, friends, and each other.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe what ‘healthy’ means for you

2. Discuss and review resources that work for you
